Biography
My name is Esmaail Nikjeh. I have been facilitating courses in computer science, Research (statistics), and mathematics at University of Phoenix for about three years. I have been a Software Engineer and computer programmer for over 25 years in different programming languages. I am currently working for EXPERT INC as a computer consultant. My principal responsibilities are application program development (C/C++, JAVA, Visual Basic, JAVA Script, ASP, PERL and WEB page design with HTML, DHTML, Dreamweaver, ...), software maintenance and Database Management with Oracle. I use statistical methods in order to do market and quality research for the customers and the company. I analyze and summarize data using appropriate optimization techniques, statistical techniques, computer programs and software, and other analytical tools. I manage quality systems/quality assurance for many projects. I do statistical research to improve quality and productivity using statistical methods. I was a scientific programmer in DWP and NAVY. I was an instructor in math, statistics, and computer science courses at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and Azad University, Tehran. I hold a Master's of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge; a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Sharif (Arya-Mehr) University of Technology. I am working on my Ph.D. in computer science (Artificial Intelligence). I have lived in Tehran, Turkey, France, Canada, and Los Angeles. I am married and I have three children, Omid, Sara, and Ida. I enjoy traveling and watching movies. I also like swimming, playing soccer, biking and walking.
